Recursion has been certified as a Participant in the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) 8(a). Business Development Program after submitting an initial application in 2019. Recursion’s sam.gov profile has been updated by SBA with its new 8(a) status.
The SBA 8(a) program is designed to assist small businesses owned by socially and economically disadvantaged people who also demonstrate good character and the potential to perform on contracts.
Recursion has been working as a subcontractor for the federal government since 2016 and has gained extremely high levels of satisfaction. Currently Recursion is working under SBA’s supervision to develop a business plan to achieve long term success. With the 8(a) certificate, Recursion will actively work on becoming a primary contractor for federal contracts. The certificate will allow Recursion to compete for set-aside and sole-source contracts in the 8(a) program.
Recursion is also a Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) and an Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (EDWOSB).
