Cohort Analyzer is a powerful tool for users to build cohorts from loan-level data. It is the classic GUI based querying tool for agency MBS loan level tables. Cohort Analyzer covers more than 30 million loans with an outstanding total balance of 6 trillion USD. Loan level data coverage is 100% for pools issued in or after 2013. Data is distinguished between bank and nonbank sellers and servicers. Geographic data is available at the state level. Cohort Analyzer is based on data disclosed by the mortgage agencies Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae. Recursion applies cleaning to this data and makes other analytical enhancements. Cohort Analyzer can also operate on CMO collateral groups, customer portfolios, and the FED’s portfolio.
HECM Analyzer is a powerful tool for users to build cohorts from loan-level data for reverse mortgages. It is the comprehensive tool used to study the performance of reverse mortgage loans endorsed by FHA and securitized throught Ginnie Mae's HECM program. It covers UPB of 55 billion USD and contains more than 10 million individual loan pieces and enables users to obtain important performance measures such as prepayment speeds, mandatory re-purchase speeds, draw rates at the loan level, among others. HECM Analyzer can also analyze HECM CMO collateral groups and HECM customer portfolios.
HMDA Analyzer is a powerful tool for users to build cohorts from loan-level data reported to HMDA and collected by Recursion. HMDA Analyzer is used to perform queries on over 500 million loan applications, including 350 million originated or purchased loans, reported by 7,000 financial institutions over almost 3 decades from 1990. The HMDA databank is organized around mortgage originators. As with the loan-level data in agency pools, Recursion distinguishes the data between bank and nonbank lenders. In addition to the information available in securitized loans, HMDA provides users with information for loans that are held on book and not placed in agency pools.

Pool Level Analyzer is a powerful tool for users to build cohorts from pool-level data. Pool level data go back to 1994, covering pools backed by loans with a balance of 7 trillion USD. In addition, it contains information of the derived Mega, Giant and Platinum pools. Pool Level Analyzer can also analyze CMO collateral groups, customer portfolios, FED portfolio etc.
CRT Analyzer is a powerful tool for users to query CAS and STACR reference loan tables. It provides users with unique delinquency and loss information not available in regular GSE loan tables. It enables users to analyze the performance and risk profile of CAS and STACR reference pools. Data by geography is available at the level of the first three digits of zip code. Users can view historical performance for each CRT deal by vintage, geographic exposure, credit score, CLTV, and other risk measures. Users can also create customized cohorts of loans regardless of their reference pools.
